1. Implement guidelines and policies regarding veteran cadres by CCP Central Committee, State Council, CCP Beijing Municipal Committee, and Beijing Municipality; implement various decisions made by CCP BMLSSB Committee to improve political and living offerings of veteran cadres;
2. Mobilize veteran cadres to study some documents by CCP Central Committee, State Council, CCP Beijing Municipal Committee, and Beijing Municipality as well as various policies and regulations;
3. Manage ideological and political work of retirees and retired veteran cadres and build CCP branches for them;
4. Support veteran cadres to participate in important events and activities in or out of BMLSSB; and assist the personnel division to re-engage them on their own request according to career requirements; and
5. Manage the reasonable use of funds and vehicles for veteran cadres; and mobilize veteran cadres to participate in various events, in which careful service should be offered.
