Manage activities regarding insurance for employees of companies, state organizations, and institutions in Beijing City who are subjected to work injury or injury from official operations (referred to as "Occupational Insurance" hereafter); implement national laws, regulations, and policies regarding occupational insurance and design and mobilize the implementation of municipal development programs, institutions, and policies of occupational insurance; design policies for occupational insurance on its coverage, social pooling, and premium rate adjustment; design the repayment items and allowances, and use of occupational insurance fund; design the procedure, criteria, and steps to determine work injury and mobilize such determination; design policies to categorize occupational disabilities in accordance with national standards specifying determination of disability severities introduced by work injury and/or diseases; design qualification criteria and certification, management, and supervision procedures for medical organizations designated to treat or rehabilitate occupational-injury persons; and design policies on repayment items and allowances to supply families of occupational deaths.
